1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup packed brown sugar

2 large eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

3 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and creamy.

Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until just blended.

Stir in the chocolate chips.

Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly browned.

Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

After that, feel free to enjoy your cookie.
